Summer vacation in Tuscany

If you like warm weather, late evenings outdoors, beautiful countryside, great food and a general feel of relaxation and wellbeing, then book you a holiday in Tuscany in the summer.
Summer is the busiest time to visit Italy.  The weather is a predictably sunny. There is also a high humidity factor, especially in the cities. In the first weeks of August the cities usually empty out while the seaside resorts do a booming business. If you would like to plan a seaside holiday during this period, it is advisable to book many months in advance. The average summer temperature is 29 C sometimes reaching the 32 C or 33 C, but the evenings are usually quite comfortable.
So it’s ideal to go to Tuscany in summer if you are a sun lover and if you enjoy lying on the beach during the day and sitting on a terrace, enjoying great food and lovely local wines in the evening.
But it’s also ideal if you want to take walks through the country, or visit historical sites or one of the many lovely churches or chapels that can be found everywhere throughout this magnificent area.
The coastal villages and resorts are the ideal place to be. Warm weather with a nice cooling breeze from the sea, now and again a swim, isn’t that a perfect way to spend your time? Or walk though the countryside, the rolling hills lying sleepily in the sun, local products growing and ripening to provide for you the perfect ingredients for a lovely meal, which of course you can enjoy outside on your terrace.
Or, better still, maybe you want to picnic somewhere in the middle of nature where you can imaging to be all alone, away from the stress that daily life brings you. What an ideal situation!  The memory will keep you relaxed long after you have returned home.
Book the accommodation that suits you most. Stay on a farm; rent an apartment or a villa. Many of our villas have swimming pools. It will be less expensive then you think.
And just imagine: there you are in the nice warm weather, taking the occasional dip in your very own private swimming pool, to let yourself dry in the sun. Then, you take a leisurely walk into one of the beautiful villages to shop at one of the local markets for the things you need to prepare for dinner.
All products fresh, home-grown, local wines that will be the perfect match for the food and ahead of you a long nice evening, sitting under the starry skies till late.
