The work on the creation of the New Uffizi Gallery can be seen on the internet. By clicking on the website Nuoviuffizi, as of today you can see the progress of the work, which began a year ago, making the world-famous Florence gallery over twice its current size (from 5,400 m2 to about 12,000 m2) by 2010, hence allowing another 800 works of art to be presented to the public (now stored in the warehouses) with a total of 2000 masterpieces to be admired.
