Festival dei Popoli, Florence 14-11-2008 to 21-11-2008
The 49th Festival dei Popoli will be held in Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence from 14 – 21 November 2008. This is Tuscany's most important film festival and open to everyone, it shows films in their original language with Italian subtitles.
International Competition - this competitive section features the best of contemporary documentary cinema in terms of style. An international jury from the worlds of cinema and culture will award a 5,000 Euro prize to the best documentary. Italian Competition - an Italian jury of documentary film experts will award a prize of 2,500 Euros to the best submission.
