The first edition of Christmas & Wineries will be held, on December 20th and 21st, in the marvelous landscape of the Florentine hills, at the Demidoff Hotel in Pratolino just outside of Florence. Wine makers and wine lovers will meet for two days of tasting wine and good food with guided workshops by the Florentine National wine tasters organization.

The main theme of the 2008 edition will be "The Sangiovese wines", but there will be also white wines and prestigious labels from other regions.
Together at the same place, the wineries taking part to the event will be able to tell their wine stories and let consumers discover their products directly, as in the cellar, in the informal and cheerful atmosphere of the weekend before Christmas. This event will be a chance to celebrate the end of the year, share projects and ideas for 2009 and let also ordinary people approach the world of wine.
