Thousands of people reach the small village of medieval origin that, for the occasion, set in a magical atmosphere: the streets, illuminated by torches, color of white-red drapes, shields; cheerful musicians animate the streets and alleys.

The art of falconry surprise children and adults, patrols of men of arms could ask "Who are you and where you go?" And, when darkness fell the eaters will illuminate the night with diabolical flames.

Medieval Festival at Montevettolini is an interactive festival where the public is the main actor where all are part of joy.

The 12th edition of festival, will be held, the second Saturday of September.

Starting in the afternoon the village will be ready to welcome visitors: free shuttle bus will be at your disposal; village will offer many temptations: grilled meat, tasty soups, cheese and rustic tarts… and then a good glass of red wine!

This is the Medieval Montevettolini Day, a celebration of all and for all, entrance is free.

The festival has become one of the most important of this kind, known and appreciated in Tuscany.

The village of Montevettolini belongs to the municipality of Monsummano Terme, in the province of Pistoia.
