Marea Festival continues its way through the landscape of the most important events during Tuscan summer. The festival will take place this year in Fucecchio from 25 June to 6 July. This is an event aimed primarily at young people, which includes concerts, theatrical events, exhibitions, debates, sports.

Every year the associations choose as a guide their activities themes such as peace, water, satire. Marea is also a set of activities of various kinds as extemporaneous painting, animation, dinners with improvisations theatre, equipped wall, and space for skateboarding and snowboarding, art installations and spaces for refreshment.

The organization of the festival is curate by a committee including representatives of associations, municipal administration together, have given rise to Marea and participate in designing the programme. The creation of an organizing committee seems to be the natural evolution path that in twelve years has become the festival, an important appointment at the regional level, supported and also wanted by the Region of Tuscany as an example of participation of citizenship, and young people in particular.
