
From the 26 September till 28 September 2008 in the striking setting of the cloister of the Basilica St.Maria of Impruneta, 5 km from Florence, with tasting of wine, olive oil, fine food and gastronomic specialties from all Italy.
Impruneta is a town rich of cultural events. The great Wine Festival in September that has a parade of decorated allegorical carts provide visitors and locals alike with a great chance to enjoy themselves as well as taste the local wines. The September event was Italy's first organized grape harvest festival back in 1926 and keeps the original traditional character. Impruneta is also world famous for the high quality terracotta which it produces. The Vinoteca offering carefully selected products for wine and food lovers from Italy and abroad.
More than 400 wines will be available for tasting, a separate space dedicated to olive oil, fully stocked display of cheese, salami and many other selected delicacies all available for sampling.
All the products are on sale and can be acquired by visitors to the event.
