The Terra di Siena Film Festival will run from the 6th to the 9th of November, it has been founded in 1996 by Maria Pia Corbelli. It is the most important film festival in Central Italy.

Every year the film festival presents a dozen of new films from around the world, and a complete retrospective about an author, a film maker or an actor.

Festival is open to film professionals as well as to public. The Terra di Siena Film Festival focused from the beginning on the independent movie scene. The Festival has discovered, throughout the years, many independent film productions from many countries.

Hundreds of young viewers, especially students in media and cinema, who attend the festival help create Terra di Siena's unique and unforgettable atmosphere, helped by the city of Siena, one of the most gorgeous in the world, in the center of Tuscany, and by the surroundings, the landscapes where films such as "Stealing Beauty", "Nostalghia", "Up at the Villa", "The English Patient" have found their locations. Terra di Siena Film Festival offers its visitors a carefully organized program, high-quality facilities, and a wide range of services.
