The wild boar dominate in the local cooking especially in the most traditional dishes, you can taste another local dishes in restaurants in the town.

The public butchering and preparation of the meat is typical in Etruscan tradition.

How to get there:
By car: take the A1 motorway and leave at the Barberino di Mugello exit, km 16, then the state road SS102 Faentina and the state road SS503 Bolognese.
By train : take the bus from San Piero a Sieve station (5km), or from Florence station (30km).
