The Knives Exhibition, Tuscany Travel Guide
Scarperia, the town of knives. The cutting-tools exhibition is an event held in the Renaissance setting of Palazzo de Vicari. There is a different theme each year, and two fringe events are also organized in June: a competition for the best knife made by a non-professional, and an exhibition of handcrafted knives, which attracts exhibitors from Italy and abroad. This provides an interesting opportunity to compare local products with those made in other places in Europe that have a long and well-established knife-manufacturing tradition. At the exhibition, knives can be ordered and bought.

By car
take the A1 motorway and leave at the Barberino di Mugello exit, km 16, then the state road SS102 Faentina and the state road SS503 Bolognese.
By train
From Florence station (30km).
