The museum has elegant examples of coaches and trappings used at the Lorraine and Savoy courts in the 18th and 19th centuries. They include an 18th-century coupé, from a private collection, the gala coach of Ferdinand II of Bourbon, another from the Savoy stables, but perhaps originally belonging to the Duke of Modena Francesco IV, and three others made for Ferdinand III of Lorraine between 1818 and 1820. The collection is only visible on request, while plans are being made to house it in the former Medici stables. Opening hours: By appointment only.
