Il Borghetto lies on the side of a hill within the municipal borders of San Gimignano directly on the original old dirt road leading to the town, with the best view of the famous towers; San Gimignano is just 3 Km away.

The little cluster of buildings is perfectly situated in the midst of the splendid Tuscan countryside, surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards for the production of fine oil of the highest quality and fragrance and the white wine.

Il Borghetto was restored respecting the different architectural and historical periods in which it was built, recovering and valorizing the structures, and highlighting the elements and portions that go back even as far as the Middle Ages.
The accommodation is divided into apartments of different sizes and typology to better satisfy the varying needs of the guests.

All apartments are equipped with the following comforts:  kitchen with a cooking board, sink, refrigerator with freezer, microwave with grill function,  dishwasher (only in the larger  apartments), toaster, moka (Italian coffee maker), pots/pans and  cutlery and all the main kitchen utensils for preparing meals, then ,cable TV, direct dial telephone.
- The twin beds in the bedrooms can be put together to make a queen size bed when required.

There is a fully equipped laundry at the disposal of the clientele. It is upon request, not included in the price: cradle, baby sitting, mountain bike, and domestic help.
The Villa is surrounded by a large park with secular Cypress trees where the guests may stroll through vast green areas abounding with plants, colorful flowerings and typical scents. To further relax in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, the guests may also enjoy a pergola with wrought iron tables and chairs and a large swimming-pool (m 16x8).

There is a club inside Il Borghetto – The Duke’s Room – whose sole purpose is to let our guests know of our dishes, cooked according to local traditional Tuscan cuisine and a selection of fine Tuscan wines.
For us dinnertime is not only a moment in which to offer our guests our typical cuisine but also an occasion to get to know each other better, exchange opinions in front of tasty typical dishes.
We always offer a fixed menu for dinner and it is different every evening, made up of assorted starters; as regarding the wines, you will find a vast assortment in our wine list.
