Casa il Vecchio Albero
A comfortable large holiday villa located in region of Chianti in its own grounds which include several acres of olive grove. Located between Siena and Florence it is easily accessible by road and offers an excellent base for touring or relaxing.
The villa offers comfort to 8 guests, all rooms are comfortable and have toilet and shower. There on the ground floor is reading room, living room with fireplace, dining room, and in the back a well equipped kitchen. In the garden house, you can use barbecue. New swimming pool.
There is a wonderful view of the small ancient city of Cortona whose origins go back to the Etruscans. The large and shallow Lake Trasimeno is about 10 km southeast of Cortona and it is well suited for bathing. We suggest the beach of Castiglione del Lago.
Prices are exclusive of end-of-stay cleaning charge which is at least 50 EURO depending on the number of people staying. In addition guests will be charged for the electricity, heating and cooking gas consumed.
Holiday villa is rented only from Saturday to Saturday.
The farmhouse dates back to about the year 1730 and lies in a protected area of native cultural habitat, named "Bella Arte". The villa was originally a stone built farmhouse, and it has been completely restored preserving its original character using traditional materials of Chianti rural architecture. About 500 olive trees planted in the 16th century grow on this property and among them is the second oldest tree in Tuscany.

The ancient celebration will be held in the small medieval village of Montisi. It is a festivity with music, theatre and cultural and historic medieval activities.
On Saturday on 17 May, it is possible to visit some on the Florence museums for free during the evening.
Rooms
The master bedroom has an open roof with exposed beams. It has south facing windows overlooking the garden and a window overlooking the back garden. It is furnished with a double bed and local antiques and has a walk-in wardrobe leading to an en-suite bathroom with bidet.
The second bedroom is secluded at one end of the property and has beautiful views over the gardens and olive groves beyond. It has a vestibule leading to an en-suite bathroom with shower hand basin and bidet. It is furnished with a double bed and an antique wardrobe.
The third bedroom has twin beds and enjoys views over the garden and beyond. It is furnished with two single beds and antique chest of drawers and has an en-suite bathroom. It has an open roof space with exposed beams and parket flooring.
The fourth bedroom is south facing and has pretty views over the garden and patio. It is furnished two single beds and an antique display cabinet. It has an open roof space with exposed beams and parket flooring.
