Bed and Breakfast is nestled on a hilltop in the Val di Chiana, amid the lush fields of grain, sunflowers, olive groves and vineyards. At Bed and Breakfast, you will experience the relaxed rhythm of Tuscan country life while you enjoy the panoramic views of the Abbazia di Farneta, Montepulciano, Lucignano and Cortona.

Our home and guest rooms are furnished in antiques of the 18th to 20th centuries. Each of our beautifully appointed guest rooms offers a full private bath. The rooms are serviced daily and the linen is changed every three days. A sumptuous buffet breakfast is served in our dining room, with all guests seated around a single table.

We will be happy, upon arrangement, to prepare dinners featuring traditional Tuscan dishes. It would be our pleasure to recommend an appropriate wine from our wine cellar to accompany your meal.

Common Areas

Dining Room
Breakfast is served in the elegant setting of the dining room. The breakfast is a sumptuous bounty of homemade cakes, homemade jams from our own fruit trees, cheeses, meats and cereals. It is served using the finest silver, porcelain and linens.
In the evening, with the warmth of glowing candles, the dining room offers a magical and comfortable ambiance for previously arranged dinners featuring traditional Tuscan dishes. 

Sitting Room
The Sitting Room was created from the original stables of Casa Bellavista. Furnished in vintage antiques, it offers a warm and welcoming area to read or enjoy listening to music. You may sip a “digestivo” while browsing through Tuscan art and photography books or the many travel brochures available for planning your next day’s adventure.

The Study
Situated at the top of the front stairs, the Study offers our visitors a quiet place to relax, read or perhaps write a note or letter to friends, sharing the joys of your holiday. On the balcony jasmine, roses and spectacular sunsets await you. 

The Garden
The well-tended garden gives the guests of Bed and Breakfast an ideal place to relax, perhaps in one of the hammocks in the pine grove. As you walk around the garden you will stroll among the fruit and olive trees or through open spaces where you can take pleasure in the gently rolling hills.

The Swimming pool
A beautiful swimming pool waits to refresh you and encourage complete relaxation in the Tuscan sun. You will be soothed by the surrounding mountains, farms, vineyards, and sunflowers.

Capture the spirit of freedom and the beauty the Val di Chiana as you ride one of our Vespa Piaggio scooters or one of our mountain bikes about the country roads surrounding Bed and Breakfast. The Vespa and bike rides are a courtesy service to our guests.

Classic balloon flight and is an offer throughout the summer, depending upon the weather conditions.
We fly mainly early in the morning after sunrise as evening flights are not usually possible due to the wind conditions. The inflation of the balloon and pre-flight preparations followed by a flight of about one hour, together with the post flight celebrations will take a total of about three hours.

Experience the joy of cooking around the large marble topped table in kitchen. It is here that you will learn the true meaning of Italian kitchen.

The formal dining room will provide a romantic candle lit environment as you enjoy the meal you prepared. All that is left to complete the evening is the selection of an appropriate wine from the wine collection of Bed and Breakfast.
