Hotel Villa Casalecchi
Villa hotel is situated on ancient foundations dating back to the sixteenth century, is located in the beautiful landscape of Castellina in Chianti. It was created in ancient dwelling house with the intention of offering a warm, family style hospitality.
It has 16 rooms in the main building and 3 apartments in the former stables. All rooms are furnished with either original antique or antique style furniture and have en-suite bathrooms, mini-bar, telephone, satellite tv and air conditioning.
Hotel also have nice restaurant where you can enjoy in traditional Tuscan specialities and a comprehensive wine list covering the main wine growing regions of Italy.
This beautiful hotel offer you a nice swimming pool, tennis court and Italian bowling court, or you can choose for long walks in the grounds of the hotel, surrounded with vineyards and olive groves. There is also possibility to rent bicycles, scooters or horses. The hotel have a beautiful private chapel with some original frescoes, a wooden altar and the original tinted glass-pane windows. The beauty of the Chianti region, and comfort and warm hospitality can make you holiday just perfect, with an unforgettable experience.

The ancient celebration will be held in the small medieval village of Montisi. It is a festivity with music, theatre and cultural and historic medieval activities.
On Saturday on 17 May, it is possible to visit some on the Florence museums for free during the evening.
