The Villa is situated about 50 Km (30 Miles) east of Florence and very close to the hamlet of Vertelli with the nearest large village, Strada/Castel San Niccolo with a wide range of local shops being about 5 minutes away by car. The closest shop to the house is 3 or 4 minutes away. The closest town is Bibbiena which is about 15 minutes by car. Arezzo, the provincial capital is about 40 minutes away. The apartment is situated in a wing of the Villa and has a private entrance and furnished sun terraces. The space covers 90 sq.m but is flexible and either one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms can be provided depending on the size and needs of the party. It's a generously sized, decorated and furnished to a high standard apartment which comprises very large living area with luxury well equipped kitchen area including large fridge / freezer, stainless steel hob, double sink, full size stainless steel oven, microwave and plenty of crockery, glasses and kitchen utensils.

The living area is comfortable with sofas and individual armchairs, a hardwood dining table and chairs and occasional furniture. The floor is in Tuscan ceramic tiles. The kitchen area is finished to a very high standard by an exclusive Italian designer and manufacturer. The bathrooms feature large high quality shower cubicles with ‘power shower heads’, ample hot water, wash hand basins and WC with bidet showers. The bedroom have new beds, quality bedding and linen with the flooring being in solid hardwood. They provide a wide selection of artwork right the way through the guest suite and there is satellite TV, DVD and CD player and you are welcome to borrow DVD discs from owner's wide selection. In the guest suite, there is a wood-burning stove for the cooler evenings and the whole suite is centrally heated for winter reservations. There is ample wardrobe and storage space and comfortable chairs for further relaxation.

The floors are finished in Tuscan ceramic tiles, there are large mirrors, excellent lighting and the walls never fail to fascinate, being covered with ceramic tiles where necessary and crushed marble for the other areas.

A particular feature is that they can provide either double or single beds. They have a beautiful 12 metre ‘L’ shaped swimming pool which has a good length for lap swimmers and a spacious relaxation area with stepped seating. They place high emphasis on the cleanliness of the pool and the water is regularly tested. Surrounding the pool are extensive sun terraces finished in natural stone and these are furnished with hardwood teak sun beds, occasional chairs, benches and small tables. There is of course a large umbrella for those who need shade. This makes the perfect place to relax when one remembers the long hours of sunshine and the fantastic views.

There are many activities available in the immediate area and these include the following: golf, hill walking and rambling, horse riding, cycling along the peaceful roads and tracks, bird Watching. Golf at a local course with daily membership available at reasonable rates. Guests report that the course is excellent and that the views are magnificent. Clubs are available for hire and there is also a golf driving range. Even though the apartment kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped there are many good local restaurants to tempt and they are always happy to make suggestions, recommendations and reservations where necessary.
