“Cappella 2” (4 people/60sqm) also overlooks the internal courtyard and is located on the first floor alongside Cappella 1. Private access is from a ground floor covered archway up two short flights of stairs that lead to the apartment’s private furnished terrace, ideal for enjoying one’s meals in peace. A panoramic glass door opens into a living/dining room with fireplace. A door in the living room leads to a lovely kitchen fully equipped with gas range, electric oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen also has a panoramic glass door to the terrace. To the right of the fireplace in the living room are two doors: one to a spacious double bedroom and the second to bathroom with shower and washing machine. The door to the twin room is to the left of the fireplace. Both bedrooms boast stunning views out to the north-west towards Barberino and Tavernelle. The apartment is comfortable and particularly well-furnished.

“Podere Cappella” constitutes the heart of Fattoria Quercia al Poggio and is comprised of four apartments, the wine cellars, Vinsanteria and the consecrated Chapel, which gives its name to this group of farmhouses. The courtyard is framed by century-old cypresses making the setting truly spectacular.

Fattoria Quercia al Poggio is pleased to offer its guests a wide range of sporting, recreational and cultural activities. The main swimming-pool, complete with diving board and measuring 12m x 22m, deserves particular mention for its location. Situated in the main part of the estate, it is spectacularly set into the side of a hill overlooking the stunning Tuscan countryside. Due to its size, it is ideal not only for relaxation but also for more serious swimmers.

The tennis court, which also doubles as a five-a-side football pitch, is located next to the main swimming pool and is surrounded by olive groves and stunning views. Guests can also make use of the communal games room complete with billiard table, ping pong and table soccer. During the week it is possible to visit the cellars and taste and purchase the estate’s biological products including wine, extra-virgin olive oil and Vinsanto.
